Dan Capello has worked at high-end country clubs for over 30 years, viewing burnout as a badge of honor. The demanding hours took a toll on his family, and he turned to self-medication to cope with early trauma and anger issues. Concerned about his health, doctors recommended medication, but Dan resisted. Then, he read David Goggins' book, "Can't Hurt Me,” which resonated with his abusive background and battle with weight gain. Inspired, Dan decided to embark on a journey to transform his life. Despite knee surgeries and initial struggles, he gradually improved his fitness level and ultimately completed a surreal Spartan race. Jumping over the finish line, he experienced a rush of exhilaration and accomplishment.
